A BIG congratulations to Dustin Roark, our November Employee of the Month!
Dustin will not give up on a task until he accomplishes it. He has outstanding drive, focus, and the skills to successfully operate the Architectural Sign Department. His quality control sets the standard for the products we want our customers to enjoy. He takes pride in what he does and it reflects in his work productivity. We are lucky to have him on staff. If we could clone him, we would!
Name: Dustin Roark
What do you do at BIG? A Team Leader for the Architectural Sign Department (ASD), my responsibilities include set-up and preparation of art files used to produce dimensional, architectural, and ADA-compliant signage, as well as assisting in fabrication of such products. Responsible for ensuring quality of finished products while motivating co-workers to deliver their best possible work.
How long have you worked at BIG? Four years
What is the coolest project you’ve worked on at BIG? We recently completed a large dimensional project depicting the history of Wild Turkey Bourbon that was installed at their new distillery in central Kentucky. The project included many layers of painted acrylic panels with direct-printed artwork mounted various depths off the wall and incorporated some one-of-a-kind artifacts provided by Wild Turkey Bourbon. The final result looked spectacular and the client was extremely pleased.
What do you love to do in your free time? Spend time with family and friends, watch tv (especially baseball – GO BRAVES!! #fearthechop), contemplating what my next car will be and how I will customize it.
